Hi, I’m Jingyi, an introvert, coffee devotee, nature seeker, and founder of A For Apothecary.
In 2018, I set out with a simple mission: to create a 100% natural, zero-nasties, chemical-free baby balm for sensitive skin. Two years, six natural ingredients, and 20 formulation trials later, our creamy golden balm was born. Crafted with care and ingredients that give back to their communities.
You’ll often find me in my natural element: sun on my face, sand between my toes, coffee in hand.
We began in 2018 as a baby skincare brand, born from a mother’s search for something truly gentle and safe for her children’s sensitive skin. Our first creation, a natural multi-purpose Baby Balm, was made not from ambition but from necessity — stripped back to the essential, rooted in nature, and guided by science.
As an artisanal skincare, I ensure the formulation went through EU's cosmetic product safety assessment, human (voluntary) clinical trials, obtain necessary safety datas and ensure our suppliers have organic and cruelty free certifications.
Over the years, our care has grown with the families who trust us. Today, we create skincare for all stages of life — from newborn to adult — along with wellness essentials that honour the connection between skin, body, and mind.
We work with botanicals, oils, and minerals in their purest form. Nothing unnecessary, nothing to overwhelm the skin — only what helps it remember its own strength.
We honour every stage of skin, from the first breath to the weathered years. For newborns. For tired mothers. For anyone whose skin needs remembering.
Our formulas are made in small batches, using ethically sourced ingredients and minimal packaging — because care should extend to the world we live in, too.
